Most Whish products are vegan, but there are a few exceptions. Our Body Butters, Bath & Body Gels, Sugar Scrubs, and Lip Scrubs all contain beeswax, and our Rose Hip + Lotus Milk Bath contains hydrolyzed milk protein. Also, the Coconut Milk + Verbena Correcting Gel contains manuka honey.
Most of our products are gluten-free, but there are a few exceptions. Our Hand Soaps and Bath & Body Gels contain a natural wheat-derived cleanser. Our Flawless Post Shave & Wax Serum and Blue Matcha Clarifying Serum both contain wheat germ extract. Although these products are not technically gluten-free, the molecules are too large to be absorbed. In fact, our founder has Celiac disease and uses all of our products without any adverse effects. However, the severity of an individual’s gluten sensitivity can vary, so please use your own judgment.
The majority of our product line does not contain any ingredients that are specifically advised against while pregnant or nursing, but we suggest that you always check with your physician before using any beauty or skincare product while pregnant or nursing.
Our Blue Matcha Clarifying Serum, Coconut Milk + Verbena Exfoliating Foot Mask, Flawless Post Shave & Wax Serum, and our Bakuchiol Boosting Drops contain willow bark extract (a very gentle and natural form of salicylic acid). We suggest that you consult with your physician if you would like to use these particular products during pregnancy or nursing.
Our products that help moderate hair regrowth contain chaparral extract and you should consult a physician before use. These products include our Deodorant Swipes with Hair Inhibitor, Deodorant Stick with Hair Inhibitor and our Body Serum with Hair Inhibitor.
